Our Story
Founded with a profound passion for preserving the rich traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship, Art Maze stands as the 5th generation upholding the legacy of Moroccan handmade artisanal work. Our inspiration is deeply rooted in the rich heritage of the Andalusian civilization, and our journey began with a vision to share the intricate designs, vibrant colors, and unparalleled artistry of Moroccan artisans with the world. Our mission is to maintain and expand upon the foundation our ancestors laid.
Pictured here is Abdelhaq BENLEMLIH, who, along with his father and grandfather, was a revered master artisan of zellige from 1952 to 1985. His exceptional work graced prestigious projects, including the Royal Palace of Morocco and the iconic Hassan II Mosque, earning him widespread recognition and respect within the Moroccan artisanal industry.
Continuing this esteemed legacy, four of his sons took up the mantle, transforming the family’s artisanal skills into a structured business that achieved international acclaim. Their expertise brought the beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship to the world, with projects like the Royal Palace of Kazakhstan, prestigious hotels like Sofitel and Four Seasons, and even DisneyLand Merquesia.
Today, the entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering passion for our heritage drive the new generation to build upon this legacy. Three graduates of the family have played pivotal roles in elevating expectations, creating a group of companies that complement each other to offer 360-degree services to our clients. With new offices in the UAE and USA, we are dedicated to sharing the magic of Moroccan craftsmanship globally while preserving the traditions that have been passed down through generations.

OUR TEAM
In addition to our 28 corporate staff across various departments, our team of artisans is meticulously organized by material specialty, creating three distinct production lines: Wood, Zellige, and Brass.
The Wood Division boasts 137 skilled artisans, each dedicated to different stages of wood manufacturing. The Zellige Division comprises 83 artisans, each contributing their expertise across the various stages of zellige craftsmanship. Lastly, Our Brass Division includes 18 full-time artisans, complemented by additional project-based artisans outsourced through our trusted brass partners
Each division is overseen by a Master Artisan, ensuring excellence at every stage of production. Our team is deeply passionate about their craft, bringing years of experience and a profound connection to Moroccan tradition, ensuring that every piece is crafted with the utmost care and precision.
